Our 11-doctor practice in Southeast Denver is looking to hire 2 more veterinarians! We offer flexibility with scheduling, support and guidance from all of our doctors, and the freedom to practice quality medicine the way you see best for your patients. Our practice (private, non-corporate) encourages growth and development of our veterinarians, which allows for unique CE opportunities, new equipment, and time off for continued learning opportunities. In addition, we are always open to new ideas, treatment considerations, and medications. We are currently looking for 2 positions. A day practice veterinarian and a veterinarian that may be interested in day practice and some urgent care shifts as well. The hybrid position is a great position for someone who enjoys the long-term relationships, predictability, and stability that day practice offers, yet the challenges and variety of after-hours emergency medicine. Our day practice is open from 8am-6pm Mon-Fri and 8am-2pm Sat. Urgent care is open 6pm to 10:30pm Mon-Fri, 2pm -10pm Sat and 9am-9pm Sun. These hours allow our veterinarians to have a more flexible and varied schedule, with unique case opportunities. We keep many of our medical and surgical cases in-house, which allows for better patient and client continuity. However, we also rely on traveling specialists and emergency clinics for those cases that need more extensive treatments and care. Our current building is small and tight, but we will soon be moving into a newly remodeled, larger facility across the street, to accommodate the growth of our practice. Our veterinarians enjoy all of the usual benefits of being an associate (CE, paid vacation, health insurance, retirement plan, uniform allowance), but our practice offers so much more that cannot be put into a contract. The ability to practice high-quality veterinary medicine in a safe and supportive environment, the resources for growth and challenge, flexible scheduling, and a unique caseload, make Evans East a great place to work! Please feel free to contact any of our associate veterinarians if you have further questions.
