We are looking for an experienced veterinarian or a motivated new graduate for a long term relationship. The new associate will be expected to contribute to all aspects of the practice with an emphasis on equine reproduction. The current owner performs all the breeding work and desires to reduce his hours worked. Current services are mainly breeding of mares with shipped or frozen semen, and occasionally stallion collection, semen evaluation and packaging, and embryo transfer. Experience or high motivation in the above areas and additional theriogenology capabilities is an asset. Mentoring and introductions to existing and new clients will be a priority during the first year with a gradual hand-off of breeding responsibilities. Additional responsibilities are consistent with a full service mixed animal practice including equine colics, lameness, medicine, dentistry, radiography and field surgery. Small animal responsibilities may include routine vaccinations, wellness exams, medical work-ups, soft tissue surgery, and radiology. The new associate will be mentored and encouraged to determine her/his areas of concentration and will be treated as a full member of the team from day one. We offer services 24/7 with emergencies split evenly among all the veterinarians.

Our patients are about 50% small animal (dogs and cats) and 50% horses with the occasional small ruminant.
