Midwest Veterinary Supply has an immediate opening in our e-Commerce Department for someone with a veterinary background. Have you worked in a veterinary hospital? Essential Job Functions:
Assist online customers and employees through email, in person and by phone answering questions accurately and in a timely manner. Set up new users and communicate with the customer to ensure they have the information needed to successfully log in to the website. Update user information as needed. Set up customers for e-Invoices and e-Statements. Inactivate access for employees who leave the company. Maintain up to date salesman information on the website. Maintain the most up to date customer information in the AS400.
Maintain corporate website by improving and updating website information, including images, descriptions, categories and product attributes. Work with multiple departments including, Customer Accounts, Marketing, Purchasing and IT to achieve positive results on the website. Assist with rabies tag order processing.
Participate in the development of new functionality and tools for the corporate website. Work with multiple departments and customers to implement and test new functionality.
Provide website training to new employees and customers in person or through online demonstrations.
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily
High School Diploma or equivalency required
Veterinary experience preferred
Experience with online ordering
Experience working with computers
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong attention to detail

Work Environment: Work is typically performed Monday through Friday in an office environment. Working more than 40 hours per workweek may be required.
