Thompson & Associates Equine Medicine, LLC is seeking a full time associate veterinarian to join our existing three doctor ambulatory practice. We are located an hour North of Atlanta in Canton, GA.
Thompson & Associates veterinarians provide the following services to their clients: preventative health care & general medicine, lameness diagnostics & treatment, regenerative medicine, spinal manipulation, acupuncture, 24/7 emergency care, and reproductive services. There is an emphasis on sports medicine and lameness. The practice offers a full range of diagnostics such as digital radiography, endoscopy, and ultrasonography. Our practice is known for its high quality care, professionalism, and team atmosphere.
All veterinarians are provided with a well-stocked practice vehicle and a laptop. We provide the latest in equipment to enable our veterinarians to practice quality medicine.
The candidate must posses a strong knowledge of equine veterinary medicine, be highly motivated, and be willing to work as part of a team. Applicants must be competent in emergency care, digital radiography, performing PPE, lameness exams, ultrasonography, power float, and joint injections.
All veterinarians are offered a base salary with commission based bonuses, and additional compensation for emergencies. The on-call schedule for this position includes one night a week and a rotating schedule for Holidays and weekends. Benefits include health insurance, sIRA, licensure fees, professional liability insurance, and association dues.
