DVM Associates for 24-hour Hospital - DFW Metroplex

I-20 Animal Hospital is rapidly growing and is seeking DVM associates for our professional healthcare team.   If you are looking for routine veterinary medicine and more, are an adrenaline junkie, or into challenging cases - I-20 Animal Hospital is the place for you.  The hospital needs to add emergency/critical care clinicians and generalist clinicians.  We are looking for someone energetic, compassionate and ready to care for many types of cases.  The hospital is located just 10 minutes west of Ft. Worth and just east of Weatherford in Hudson Oaks on the western edge of the DFW Metroplex.  This makes for having the small town atmosphere and great schools with the metropolitan amenities nearby.  This is one area within the Metroplex, and Texas, experiencing rapid growth and development - as is the hospital as well.

The hospital provides general wellness healthcare including vaccinations, spays and neuters as well as emergency and critical care, internal medicine, and more advanced surgical procedures.   All of our staff are well versed in emergency and critical care as well as internal medicine, surgery, and wellness care.  We have a dentist available on site for routine or advanced dental and oral procedures 2-3 days a week. We collaborate within the hospital as well as with the many referring doctors and specialists in the area to enhance our ability to provide the ultimate care for our patients.

The hospital is equipped and staffed for diagnosing and treating most conditions:

Compensation:

This practice can give someone an opportunity to explore or develop any special interest in veterinary medicine as well as their future.   Internship, residency,  or experience would be a bonus. New graduates are welcome and this would be similar to an internship position for the first 9-12 months to enhance skills and application of knowledge. About I-20 Animal Hospital
I-20 Animal Hospital is a multi-doctor full service 24 hour small animal hospital located in Hudson Oaks, TX on the western edge of the DFW Metroplex. Fort Worth is only a 15 minute drive east. The hospital provides general medicine and surgery, advanced internal medicine and surgery, emergency medicine and surgery, and critical care for our patients and clients. Each DVM is supported by a large and very experienced support staff. We have digital radiography (including dental radiography), a complete in-house laboratory, ultrasonography, cold laser therapy and the ability to treat most all surgical and critical conditions. The hospital has a dentist to provide a full range of dental procedures and oral surgeries. Full time DVM schedules are generally rotating shifts of 4 on and 4 off. The hospital does referral emergency, critical care, surgical and difficult internal medicine cases for many of the area veterinarians. Each DVM is supported by a large and very experienced support staff. Being located on the edge of the DFW Metroplex allows for a small town atmosphere with the metropolitan amenities nearby, including professional football (Dallas Cowboys), baseball (Tex...as Rangers), basketball (Dallas Mavericks), and hockey (Dallas Stars). It is close and easy access to the world class Fort Worth museums, zoo, and cultural activities at the renown Bass Hall as well as any type of night life or other recreation one chooses. The local schools in the area are tip top as well. This area is rapidly growing and we are growing with it.
