Plainfield Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited hospital in South Plainfield, New Jersey. Our hospital is fully equipped with all of the necessary equipment to perform thorough workups and treat complex cases, including digital x-ray (including dental), an in house lab, and ultrasound. We also have access to a traveling internist that comes in and performs any advanced diagnostics as needed.
At Plainfield Animal Hospital we aren’t just a team, we are a family, which allows us to manage a busy schedule, while having fun and practicing the best medicine. We have many long term staff, that have years of experience and can provide mentorship to new(er) grads. In addition to dogs and cats, two of our doctors treat all species and two of our doctors treat pocket pets. They can provide excellent mentorship in all areas of exotic animal medicine and surgery. Plainfield is an hour drive to Manhattan and Jersey Shore. Outdoor activities include hiking at Pyramid Mountain, exploring at Great Piece Meadows, or viewing NYC from Eagle Rock Reservation.
