Veterinary Technician
Guiding Eyes for the Blind
The Licensed Veterinary Technician will perform clinical and administrative duties at our full-service veterinary hospital. The LVT must be experienced with surgery, dentistry, digital radiography, phlebotomy and basic ultrasonography. Clinical duties will include anesthesia, radiology, minor dental procedures, patient care, and animal husbandry. This job will require significant administrative tasks including inventory, scheduling, and phone consultations. The LVT must be highly organized, have a positive collaborative attitude and enjoy contact with the general public. Must be licensed or eligible for license in NY. This position will report to our Yorktown campus with travel to our Patterson campus as needed. Normal hours are Monday – Friday; 9-5. Flexible availability is required for after hours on-call shifts which include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. These shifts are rotated amongst or technician team.
