Hospital Manager is a leader and an integral member of the veterinary hospital management team. Hospital Manager partners directly with the Medical Director to provide a smooth and profitable operation by driving revenue and managing costs while creating a hospital culture based on high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the hospital operates within a budget.
• Ensures that the practice is compliant with industry regulations.
• Handles client complaints and work with MD and Lead LVT to resolve issues.
• Coordinate marketing activities.
• Maintain all operations of the hospital including but not limited to computer and security systems; vendor relationships; payroll and benefits; and others.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of animal hospital administration experience.
• Veterinary technician license and/or CVPM preferred.
• Experience with veterinary PIMS and analytics tools.
• Experience with online marketing tools preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
• Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
• Manages time and tasks appropriately.
• Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
• Financial data and P&L experience preferred but not required.
