Amber Leaf Animal Hospital is currently seeking a full-time veterinarian. We are in Winfield, Illinois.

Our veterinarians and staff provide excellent and quality care to our pets. The animal hospital is fully equipped for all of your needs from wellness care to dental services and surgery.

A successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual committed to practicing the highest standard of medicine with a genuine compassion for pets and clients. In addition, good communication skills, appropriate time management skills, and positive work attitude are critical.

Job Responsibilities:

• Builds a rapport with clients
• Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, nutritional needs and preventative treatment
• Performs physical exams and diagnostic-surgical-medical and dental procedures that delivers the highest quality care
• Stays current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine
• Maintains client-patient medical/surgical records
• Assists in the development of our team to ensure the highest quality of care and exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

• DVM/VMD degree-new grads welcome
• Licensure in good standing
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine
• Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
• Commitment to ongoing educational growth

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• DVM or VMD degree
• A current IL State License or ability to become licensed in IL
