VCA Milwaukee Emergency Center for Animals is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our team in Greenfield, Wisconsin.

VCA MECA is an emergency and critical care hospital that sees a unique case load of dogs, cats and exotics.  We are open 24/7 and have been serving the Milwaukee community for over 10 years.

This is a full-time position.  Our Veterinarians enjoy a good work-life balance, working 10 to 12 days per month with no on-call hours.  The schedule will primarily be swing shift (12:00pm-12:00am), with rotating weekend and holiday coverage.

You will enjoy working in MECA’s modern, full-service facility.  The hospital boasts a spacious treatment area, special procedures room, two surgical suites, and specialized isolation and exotic wards.  We are also equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy.  Additionally, our intensive care unit offers the capability of oxygen and temperature support, continuous fluids and infused medicine, and advanced patient monitoring.  Completing the hospital is an in-house laboratory and pharmacy.  We also run an on-site blood donor program.
