Advanced Veterinary Care is Central Florida’s newest, privately owned urgent care and specialty hospital, opening early 2023. Our Urgent Care Veterinarian will:
Develop rapport with clients; perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical procedures to deliver high quality care for our patients
Explain physical examination findings and communicate to the client; educate clients on preventative health care and nutritional products
Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service
Be a strong communicator, have a team-player mentality, and value collaboration
Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training as appropriate
Treat every client like family and each patient like your own pet

Qualifications:
Must have a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited university
License must be in good standing to practice within the state of Florida
Veterinary experience (3 years preferred)
Urgent Care experience (1 year preferred) or internship trained.
The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
Collaborate with all doctors within the practice and referring community.
Serve as a resource for our incredible referral community, as well as our support staff.
