With our collaborative team of DVMs, access to high quality, extensive patient-side diagnostics, and a skilled support staff team, Veterinary Medical Associatesis proud to be our Recent Graduate Certified Hospital. This provides unbeatable opportunities for one-on-one training in surgery/dentistry, access to a broad network of boarded specialists, personalized check-ins, and more!
Dr. Kahler has been in practice since 1987 and loves mentoring and sharing his passion for exotics. Dr. Wert came to us as a new graduate in 2014 and has an affinity for cats, exotics, and a special interest in behavior. Our RVTs have strong dental skills led by Miranda, who has extensive training and is our in-house specialist. Monthly team meetings with additional CSR and tech meetings help to keep our knowledge and skills at peak levels. We get along exceptionally well and enjoy all staff bowling days, baseball games, and other chances to get together outside of work. Focusing on our team engagement has led to tenures ranging from 5 to 20 years!
Established in 1965, and with over 50 years of AAHA accreditation, we are dedicated to the ultimate veterinary healthcare experience for companion pets and their caretakers. We emphasize and value communication with clients. We provide a personal approach with the utmost customer service. It is our mission to not only provide exceptional medicine but to promote the human-animal bond. Our clients have come to expect exceptional service and we take pride in meeting those expectations. One of our favorite things is when the grandchildren of some of our original clients come in, allowing us to reminisce with them about their families.
The community of Modesto is unique in that it truly has a small-town personality. Located in the heart of Stanislaus County, Modesto boasts a vibrant downtown featuring the Gallo Center for the Arts, multiple theaters, a new science center, and a superb junior college with an RVT program.
