Position: Veterinarian
Location: City of Midland Animal Services
Salary Range: $160,000 to $200,000 (based on experience)
Work Hours:
- Compressed Work Schedule: In-Shelter days of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
-Occasionally, special occurrences, such as community outreach or educational events, require your presence on days when you are not regularly scheduled to work.
- Provide medical consultations via phone on days outside the shelter and/or after hours, supporting staff with expertise and guidance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine medical examinations and treatments for animals in our care.
- Collaborate with the animal care team to ensure the health and well-being of animals.
- Perform spay and neuter procedures on animals.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- State licensure and accreditation.
- Strong surgical and medical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals.
