An exciting opportunity exists in the South Atlantic for a full-time vet to join our small, busy and very varied practice in the Falkland Islands starting in December 2024   The Role The Veterinary Services of the Falkland Islands Government invites applications for the post of Veterinary Officer. The position consists of a combination of clinical and public health duties. The clinical work is truly mixed practice (60% small animals, 20% equine and 20% livestock) including occasional wildlife cases. The public health duties include working in the EU approved Abattoir and the Fishing Industry (mainly annual audits and inspections of vessels).  Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
