Slatersville Veterinary Clinic is seeking an associate veterinarian. We are privately owned family oriented practice in North Smithfield, RI. Surgical experience and the willingness to mentor in surgery would be an added bonus for our newer veterinarian who is almost 5 years out of school. We are a privately owned, two doctor practice looking for a full or part-time veterinarian as well as several experienced technicians.

Currently we would need any/or all of 8-5pm Monday, Tuesday morning (8-2), 8-5pm Wednesday, and Thursday and Friday afternoons (1-5pm) and we would also desire to hire additional experienced technicians.We Currently have 3 full time technicians, 2 part time technicians and a full time receptionist. 2-3 of our technicians are fully trained in surgery and dental mapping cleaning, and dental radiographs. One of our associates sees exotics and we are interviewing another veterinarian who does exotic surgery. We have a board certified internal medicine specialist who does ultrasounds for us every month. We have a company that can do echocardiograms as needed. We also have a board certified surgeon who comes as needed for CCL repairs and difficult soft tissue surgeries including PUs and episioplasties.
At least 2 years of veterinary experience or a full time internship and proficient surgical skills at least for common surgeries. We typically don't do emergency surgery unless the new vet would want to add that on as a service. We do see many urgent appointments.
