We are a team of 8 recent grad DVMs (2012-2024) and 50+ support staff who are fun loving, collaborative and mentor oriented, seeking new teammates (whether you are an upcoming or recent grad, or a more experienced practitioner) as we continue to grow and expand our services.
Our doctors enjoy the variety in caseload and diversity in species they can encounter each day. Each enjoys particular interests and passions within veterinary medicine that are supported. Some prefer exclusively small animal medicine and surgery, some like getting out into the community on large animal farm calls, others enjoy the problem solving ingenuity that exotic animal species present.
We have spent the last several years honing our clinic team and environment. We have learned that not all personalities are always good fits for our team. We prioritize a drama free, collegial workplace centered on a high level of patient care and client education foundation. Teammates independently organize mental health support challenges, kooky work day themes, just for fun activities that champion camaraderie and laughter during the workday, and enjoy celebrating seasonal clinic traditions together.
Another pillar of our clinic culture is teaching and mentorship of future colleagues and aspiring veterinary professionals. We are passionate about sharing our love for vet med with dvm externs, highschool cva students, or volunteers looking to explore our profession. A new teammate joining us should find fulfillment in giving back via teaching also.
New graduates joining our team are partnered with our recent graduates to familiarize themselves with clinic protocols, solidify their technical skills and have a support network to discuss case management with. They are NEVER left as a solitary practitioner during a work day (2-3 other DVMs are on hand for support) and can have surgical and medical supervision as they deem helpful.
Our clinic strives to challenge our medical and surgical offerings and skills annually with advanced training CE opportunities. This allows us to treat many advanced cases in house and provide spectrum of care medicine for patients and their families.
Our hospital has low employee turnover with many skilled technicians, assistants and customer service representatives supporting our daily schedule.
Pay is straight salary starting at $115K for a new graduate and builds from there based on years of experience, annual production and management responsibilities. We are open to discussing a dollar figure and structure that you are looking for. Doctors work an alternating 4-4.5 day week at ~30-36 hours respectively with regular 3 day long weekends built into the schedule.
We have a brand new staff lounge and training area and are excited as we complete our 4500sqft expansion.
Graduate of AVMA accredited school of veterinary medicine, Full DVM licensure in Texas, USDA Level II Accreditation, eligible for full DEA licensure.
Pillars of ethical integrity, high quality medicine, positive workplace environment and seeking to educate future colleagues and clients are what we do.
